For Metro Parent this month, I examined glitter. To wit:
Glitter was the 11th Egyptian plague, and Dante’s 10th circle. The Inuit have many words for snow, but only one for glitter, and it’s unprintable. That’s right. Glitter was 72 percent of disco (the rest was some combination of ABBA, Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, and John Travolta’s shirt collars).
