Signed books make good gifts

I got a text from a friend the other day saying how much he enjoyed Jimmy Buffett: A Good Life All the Way despite that fact that he doesn’t care at all for Buffett’s music.

Perhaps you do enjoy Jimmy Buffett’s music. Maybe you love it. Maybe you love it but you have a friend who doesn’t and has always wondered why you do.

“What’s the deal with Margaritaville?” your friend says.

Jimmy Buffett: A Good Life All the Way explains the deal. The book is about time and change. It’s about how a man and his song navigated forty years of American culture to become singular. It makes a good gift.

And if you’d like a signed copy, or a copy signed for someone as a holiday gift, I’d like to help make that happen.

Also, my first book, Springsteen: Album by Album is out in softcover. It’s packed with really great photos accompanied by essays on each of Springsteen’s studio albums. It’s been gently updated from its 2014 edition to include his book and the box set celebrating The River.

For $25, I’ll sign a book and send it off. (If you’re outside the United States, it may cost a little more depending on shipping.)

If you’re interested, send me an email.

I’ll need to order the books, so don’t waste time. Order now. Operators are standing by.
