“What I wasn’t expecting was that it would make me homesick. But it did. It happened when he talked about saving his money to go into Moe’s Sports Shopand buy Michigan gear. His childhood was set in the same world as my childhood. He says “Michigan” the way Bo said “Michigan,” like he’s chewing through steel to finish them “M.” He feels about Michigan the way I feel about Michigan, the way so many of us feel about Michigan. And his kids are going to get to run around town. I wish my kid got to run around that town a little more often.”
