Spent an enjoyable afternoon in Nashville a few weeks ago wandering about the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Spent an especially nice hour or so checking out Dylan, Cash and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City. Of that hour, a good 15 minutes might have been enjoyed in front of this photo.

You know two of the stars. The third is Bob Johnston, who died yesterday at the age of 83. He helped create some of the world’s most celebrated records. Look at Johnston in that photo. Look at that photo.

Dylan looks like he’s got a whoopee cushion, a bottle of bourbon and an invitation to an ass kicking by Johnny Cash.
